I wasn't very much impressed with the base coat and top coat I was using before (by Essence) - I found the bubbles that formed on my nails especially irritating, so I started searching for new basic nail products. I've read some positive reviews of the Zoya Color Lock System and Mercator (chain stores in Slovenia) was just having a 20% discount on all nail polishes and well, you can see the end result of my logical thinking above.
First, I got the mini Color Lock System (21.30€ without the discount) because I didn't want to splurge on the big set not knowing whether I'd like the products or not. The set includes the nail polish remover Remove+ (15 ml), base coat Anchor, top coat Armor and speed dry drops Hurry Up (7,5 ml each which is half of the full size items). I haven't really tested any of the products except Remove+ which did its job at removing nail polish surprisingly well and I think I'm going to get the full bottle as soon as I finish this mini size (which should happen very soon as it's very tiny).
And as there was already a discount on all polishes as well, I picked up Pandora and Yasmeen.
Pandora is a mauvey beige colour with some tiny silver shimmer. It's one of the newest colours from Zoya'sTouch collection.
Zoya Yasmeen is a gorgeous deep plum colour with pink and gold shimmer and as you can probably see from this photo, there's this beautiful green sheen coming through at the edge of the beautiful. I hope it will look just as beautiful on the nails.
Zoya products are available in Slovenia in bigger Mercator stores and at an online store Nati.
The prices are quite high so eBay might be a better option in the future. I will post NOTD photos and I'll let you know how I get on with the set.
